For me, lifestyle photography is more than being a hired photographer for family photos. I enjoy getting to know my clients, creating comfortability and a relationship. When I am taking photos I try to snag moments when the subject isn’t “ready” or paying attention as I like to capture those sweet candid moments before “the perfect shot.” Even in a staged setting, getting my client to feel comfortable with me getting up close and personal is the best way to capture authenticity and the love shared between family members and significant others. I strive to capture more “candid” style shots than the overly posed family in a row.
