Photo manipulation is an art form that enhances the photo, but doesn’t alter the feeling the photo gives. Through the use of Adobe Photoshop tools such as overlays to amplify a specific mood, clone stamping to create that isolated feeling in a crowded space, modifying colors and skylines I want to enhance my photography into a different piece of art. Photo manipulation doesn’t always have to mean something that is heavily edited, one of my favorite uses of manipulation is for when I go to “touristy” destinations. Through the use of the clone stamping tool, I can quickly erase the people from the landscape, to make it look less crowded and busy.
